In June 2014, the JCF Special Gift Fund granted $300,000 to help construct the MJHS Pediatric Hospice, the first pediatric hospice residence in New York City. JCF attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 30, where we had the opportunity to tour the new children’s hospice and see the Jewish Communal Fund Care Coordination Center. We were gratified to be part of this extraordinary project which will help bring comfort, dignity and peace to families at such a difficult time in their lives.
