Jewish Communal Fund and State of Israel Bonds recently hosted a well-attended cocktail reception and briefing on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities for Israel in 2013” with Aluf Benn, Editor-in-Chief of Haaretz.
Shira Lewis, a JCF fund holder who is also a member of the national Board of Directors, the National Women’s Division Associate Chair and the Rockland County Campaign Chair at Israel Bonds, spoke about how she established a JCF fund by contributing an Israel Bond. She said that her JCF fund has made her charitable giving easy and fun and allows her to invest in two-year Maccabee Israel Bonds.
“It’s a win-win for both organizations,” she says. “Making charitable contributions from my JCF fund has been so much fun and makes my life so much easier. I no longer have to hunt down tax receipts. It’s so simple.”
