The JCF Charitable Fund is our flagship donor advised fund, which allows you to simplify your charitable giving and maximize your tax savings. The fund can be established with a minimum contribution of $5,000.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 can establish a NextGen Giving Fund for as little as $1,800. We also offer Children’s Giving Funds for children 17 and younger and Bar and Bat Mitzvah Funds to help celebrate your child or grandchild’s coming of age.
Infuse your wedding celebration with added meaning by opening a JCF Wedding Fund with a tax-deductible gift of $5,000. JCF tracks all of the gifts into the fund for you. Then, as a couple, you can recommend grants to your favorite charities using our easy online platform.
With a charitable gift of $5,000, you can establish a Memorial Fund at JCF in your loved one’s name. (Memorial funds can also be established through a bequest). Family and friends may make tax-deductible contributions to the fund at any time, in any amount, in tribute to their loved one’s memory. Designated family members can recommend grants from the fund to IRS-qualified public charities.
Jewish Communal Fund allows groups to establish donor advised funds for various purposes. For example, we have established charitable funds for a synagogue, a country club, a Holocaust-survivor group and Giving Circles. These funds provide a way for donors to demonstrate their caring and generosity as a community.
Thinking of ways to leave a charitable legacy? JCF offers an easy way to continue to support the charities you care about by making a deferred gift ($5,000 minimum) from your estate to establish a donor advised fund. You can designate the charities that will receive grants in specified amounts from the fund, or you may give family or friends the privilege of heading the fund and suggesting grants to charities. You do not have to currently be a JCF donor to establish a deferred gift.
