JCF’s Ellen Israelson Joins National Board of the Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP)

Organization’s mission is to transform philanthropy through collaboration

May 5, 2015, New York, NY—Ellen Israelson, the Vice President of Philanthropic Services and Chief Marketing Officer at Jewish Communal Fund, has been elected to the national Board of Trustees of The Association of Advisors in Philanthropy, also known as “AiP.” AiP is a prestigious member organization whose mission is to transform philanthropy through collaboration. The organization empowers financial advisors, lawyers, accountants, bankers, trust officers, philanthropic advisors, and wealth planners to assist their clients in directing their philanthropic resources in a way that is consistent with their deepest values.

“I am pleased to be joining the board of AiP, which is widely considered the number one association for advisors in a broad range of disciplines who  view wealth and legacy planning holistically and incorporate philanthropy,” said Ms. Israelson. “The goal of AiP is to provide advisors with the tools needed to help their clients make smart philanthropic decisions that benefit their family and society.”

Ms. Israelson was officially elected to the AiP Board of Trustees at the organization’s annual Conference on Philanthropy held from April 27 through April 29, 2015 at the Loew’s Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Illinois.
